You can perform the Lakṣmī Pūjā at your home under the guidance of Swami Sharadananda Sarasvati during the LIVE telecast.

Diwālī is the ‘Festival of Lights’. In Southern India, the festival is celebrated as the day Śrī Kṛṣṇa returned after defeating the demon Narakāsura. In Northern India, the festival is celebrated on the Kārtika Amāvāsyā night by lighting rows of clay lamps, as it marks the return of Śrī Rāma to Ayodhyā after killing Rāvaṇa.

It is believed that Devī Mahālakṣmī appeared on this day during the churning of the milky ocean, and that She visits each one of us on this day. Thus we celebrate Diwālī with Mahālakṣmī Pūjā.
