Subhashitas

This webinar based on Subhashitas and their commentaries will be facilitated by Smt. Rashmi Kashi. The sessions starting from 7th November, 2020 will be held on every Saturday of the month from 7:30 – 8:30 AM IST. This webinar in English will have a total of 12 sessions altogether.

Subhashitas in Sanskrit are concise and profound thoughts presented as couplets. They deal with topics of everyday scenarios covering a wide range of topics such as intellect, virtue, society, truth, time and so on.

Facilitator

Smt. Rashmi Kashi is a teacher, blogger and an author. Subhashitas have been her passion since her childhood and has had the blessed opportunity to learn many from her mother and her inspiring high school teacher. They instilled in her a passion for Sanskrit which in turn, inspired her to pursue a Master’s degree in Sanskrit. Her book ‘Sanskrit Pearls’ published in 3 volumes comprises of Subhashitas along with their commentaries. She has served as a Bala Vihar teacher for over 16 years. She has taught at various grade levels, along with Sanskrit and chanting classes.
